Well, yes, I was bored, so in no particular order, my ten least favourite - officially released - Moz penned songs probably are:

Oh, Well I'll Never Learn
Margaret On The Guillotine
Lucky Lisp
Get Off The Stage
Journalists Who Lie
The Harsh Truth of the Camera Eye
I'm) The End of the Family Line
You've Had Her
Ambitious Outsiders
This Is Not Your Country

To be fair, I was struggling to reach ten, and winner by a country mile is "The Harsh Truth of the Camera Eye".

I like a lot of those songs. This is one of those things we all need to understand that each person is different and not flame the crap out of each other.

In no particular order:

Let the Right One Slip In (This is the worst, the rest are random order)
The Public Image
I am Two People
Teenage Dad on His Estate
Noise is the Best Revenge
Found, Found, Found
The Teachers Are Afraid of the Pupils
Ammunition
He Cried
Harsh Truth of the Camera Eye

Its funny that there are a bunch of YATQ b-sides I really hate because to me, some of them are brilliant tracks.. Hard to Walk Tall, Friday Mourning, Never Played Symponies.

"Harsh Truth..." and "Journalists..." are on my Stinkers List, too, along with the "Moonriver" cover and "Sorrow Will Come in the End".

I find "Oh, Well I'll Never Learn" rather pretty, really. And I forgive "Lucky Lisp" its failings because the line "I will gurgle from the circle." makes me laugh. I suspect the subtext may well be filthy

Wasn't the subtext supposed to be CLiff Richard!

I would have included "Let the Right One Slip In" too... but, damn it, I forgot. I love "Ammunition", "Teachers", "Public Image" and "Noise"!

Isn't taste a weird thing...?

Really? Ew!

Okay, consider it unforgiven. *shudders*

Re: Really? Ew!

Well, he had a song called "Lucky Lips" which made people think so... but it is very possibly aimed in J Marr's direction...

The Harsh Truth of the Camera Eye - Seriously, why would anyone want to listen to this? I see no reason. A massive blight on the otherwise quite good Kill Uncle

You're The One For Me Fatty - I don't actually dislike this song that much, I just hate what it does to Your Arsenal as a whole. It completely cheapens the album. Yet another blight on another wise perfect album.

The Operation - Severely boring song. The drum intro is about as exciting as it gets. All downhill from there.

I Don't Mind If You Forget Me - Why does Moz do this? He puts quite awful songs next to genius. Is he a masochist? Yet another blight on a brilliant album.

Ouija Ouija Board - A joke song that should never have been included on Bona Drag. Always skip it.

Get Off The Stage - Self-parodying rubbbish. Absolutely never listen to this. Just like Paint A Vulgar Picture this song comes back to bite him in the arsemany times.

Journalists Who Lie - Yeah, I think Moz forgot that this was meant to be a song. Sounds more like a conversation. Or a rant. Dreadful.

The Slum Mums - Severely malnourished song. Could've been okay. Bad everything.

He Cried - Moz sounds bored out of his tree here. Music and lyrics by numbers.

Found, Found, Found - Forgot about this. I mean... just what is this? Really poor.

You've Had Her - It's not really that bad I just NEVER listen to it. Whether I keep forgetting to or my subconscious is telling me it's actually terrible, I don't know.

Sorrow Will Come In The End - I don't think Moz realised that the listener has to get something out of the song. Why would anyone listen to this dreck? Nearly reurned here with You Know I Couldn't Last but remembered to erm... oh yeah, include a tune!

Okay, in no real order...

Found Found Found
Papa Jack
Journalists Who Lie
Tony The Pony
Lucky Lisp
The Loop (studio version)
Get Off The Stage
Angel, Angel, Down We Go Together

It really depends on what mood I’m in. I can go on and off songs.

But on average these are probably the ones I listen to the least.

Papa Jack
Ammunition
Journalists who Lie
Get off the Stage
Now I am a was
Munich Air Disaster 1958
It's Hard to walk Tall when you're Small
I don't mind if you forget me

Oh, I thought you might have been referring to Cliff's (alleged) bottom-trauma. *scrubs brain*

Re: Righto these....

i only skip nine songs when playing the cds:

papa jack - when what's his nose makes that shitty guitar slide or whammy bar noise thing in-between verses... ugh... the end is nice, but the rest stinks
sorrow will come in the end - i hate tinny synths
i'm not sorry - sorry, it's really boring, sound like enya or something
november spawned a monster (!) - never did like it. i guess i suck. it's 3 minutes too long
ammunition - a good idea gone bad, or to seed?
i am two people - unnecessary
my life is an endless succession... - even more unnecessary, and i hate the synths
playing easy to get - waste of one good line
noise is the best revenge - the "victorian legal system" line is hilarious. the rest is corny rock. i didn't grow up in the 1970s.

disclaimer: my opinions count for shit, because i love kill uncle and southpaw.

But...

I can kind of live with most of these... but:

"Golden Lights" is a cover. "You Have Killed Me" isn't out yet (and is rather good!) And I am somewhat baffled by your choice of "The Queen Is Dead" too. Oh, and you can never exclude all of Kill Uncle. Or would that comprise your top ten all on its own?

it's no struggle to think of ten....

how could anybody possibly know how i feel?
do your best and don't worry
papa jack
journalists who lie
roy's keen
satan rejected my soul
you must please remember
alma matters
the public image
i'm not sorry

It is but I'm glad you love those songs. If everyone liked the same stuff this would all be very boring.

No such thing as a bad Morrissey song

unless you count Found Found Found as a song
