What do you think are the two best sung Morrissey/Smiths songs?
Not which song you like the best or think is best written, or lyrically (sp), or most popular, but the two songs you think he sings the best, that show his singing talent the best.

My choices are:

THE BOY WITH THE THORN IN HIS SIDE

and

COME BACK TO CAMDEN

Miserable Lie

Its Hard To Walk Tall When You are Small

and that I think answers the query and ends the 'debate'...

Well I Wonder or I Know It's Over

Now My Heart Is Full, Southpaw or Trouble Loves Me

I like the way you think Lutewhine

No one ever mentions "Southpaw" - what an epic song!
Don't forget "Girl Least Likely To" or "Headmaster Ritual"
or "We'll Let You Know" or "Yes I Am Blind" or ..... well you
get the picture - it's an impossible answer really

That is such a difficult question!!! My choices off the top of my head would be: I'D LOVE TO & Don't Make Fun Of Daddy's Voice

Lyrically I actually think Southpaw's quite weak, but the way he sings the "there is something that you should know/the girl of your dreams is here all alone" coda gets me everytime.

Good points on Girl Least Likely To and We'll Let You Know. I'd also add You Know Very Well How I Got My Name to that list as well.
