I've bought an allegedly "remastered" version of the Smiths' Louder than Bombs. It doesn't sound like it.

1. Does anybody know if the 2021 US Sire remastered reissue is a gatefold?

2. Is the 2011 European Sire reissue, which actually comes in a gatefold, also remastered?

Anybody here who has these releases and can tell me more? Thanks.

I can confirm it's gatefold.

I can confirm it's gatefold.

I guess the only difference then, between the 2011 European and 2021 US reissue, is the "Made in Germany" sticker on the latter, unless the 2011 is not remastered, and their release date of course, but more or less they seem to be identical.

I could have bought it on cassette at a second hand record store in Auckland in 1997, but didn’t because I was travelling on a tight budget. Wish I had. It was probably only a fiver. Hey ho.
