Thoughts on the Xiu Xiu split?

i really don't like the Xiu Xiu cover but enjoyed the Parenthetical Girls take on Back to the Old House.

I remember the day I bought that B-52's album fondly.

i can remember the first time i ever heard Planet Claire.

i was hooked.

actually i think you may have it the other way around, wasn't it Xiu Xiu that covered back to the old house? Either way i liked the Handsome Devil cover much more.

the Xiu Xiu cover was sorta like a David Garza track, if you've ever heard is experimental stuff. and reminded me a bit of Sweetie Pie, where it left me wanting more.

Xiu Xiu did Hated For Loving, not Back to the Old House. i would agree that PG's track is the winner of the two though
