your 5 favourite bands?

In no particular order, as I am really unsure if one or another is really my MOST favourite. . .

The Smiths
The Who
Tribe (1980s/90s band from Boston you have never heard of)
Siouxsie & the Banshees
Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds

2. The Pixies
3. Prince
4. Interpol

If I had to pick only 5:

1. Smiths/Morrissey!!

2. Steely Dan

3. The Police

4. Avenged Sevenfold

5. Failure (or any Ken Andrews project)

Anyone else a fan of these acts?

p.s. and coming in at a very close # 6 would be Austrailia's own Silverchair. The past 2 albums are masterpieces. Anyone agree?
