Did Morrissey ever acknowledge the inspiration for the sleeve of YATQ?

No he never acknowledged them. Rumor has it that the NY Dolls threatened legal action but Morrissey countered by promising to throw them out of o2 Wireless festival back in 2008.

Of course I am joking...
