worst Smiths/Morrissey song?

ah, i love Papa Jack, probably one of my favs off Maladjusted. I do dislike a few moz/smith tracks though:

Golden Lights (<cover song right?)
On The Streets I Ran (i do like the end where he mentions pittsburg though)
Paint A Vulgar Picture
Asian Rut
Interesting Drug (not one of my favs, ok though)

There's a couple more, but I didnt want to mention b-sides(most of which are superb however)

Am I the only one who actually likes Golden Lights AND all of Kill Uncle?

Golden Lights is not one of my favorites but I do love Kill Uncle.
Especially Driving Your Girlfriend Home.
It may not be his top album, but it's the album that got me hooked on Moz.
And I don't care if he doesn't like it, either :p

No, You're not!
I absolutely love Kill Uncle, the whole album ( Big :D )
I could never think about a "worst" song! they all are unique because of Moz!
:guitar:

The only songs I could mention here? oscillate wildly and Money changes everything, and that's because they don't have that velvet voice, (Damn! they should!)

here's the official list of our 30 worst Moz/Smiths songs taken from the huge poll we did last year.
tons of Moz, hardly any Smiths other than covers and instrumentals. poor Mike Farrell gets both of his compositions in the bottom 30! None of Jesse's songs do though,
So 'Journalists Who Lie' is the very worst song he's done!

how strange. I hold "to me you are a work of art" as one of his best efforts on rott!!!

Og denne norgesvitsen. Den forsto jeg ikke, men det var kanskje vitsen?

There's nothing really wrong with Alain's work but I can't stand "I see the world/it makes me puke" and "I'd give you my heart/that's if I had one".

Ja, hela skämtet är egentligen helt poänglöst, det är en form av tramshumor. Och MS Röj är ett gammalt kultspel (hette Minesweeper på engelska).

Quite right, Chartres. There's a depressingly increasing trend of Moz ruining a great musical composition with a cringey/lazy/rubbish lyric and those are good examples. Along with 15 miles of shit, entered with a key, thicker than pig shit. Oh and don't get me started on kegs between legs!

doesnt anyone not like The Moonriver Cover Moz Did?? it's the only song i ever skip and good looking man about town isn't one i've really got into...

The Smiths-Death at One's Elbow
Morrissey- I have to say for a released track Harsh Truth of the Camera Eye. That being said Oh Phoney is one of the worst songs I've ever heard from anyone

I dont really get either of the Farrell tracks being on the bottom 30 honestly. At Last I am Born is a great almost Baroque like song and more importantly was killer live, and Sweetie Pie was at least a step in a new direction

There is only one song I cannot listen to by the great man, everything else he has recorded is wonderful at the right time, most of it wonderful anytime.

The unlistenable one : Munich Air Disaster 1958
