Worst ever Smiths/Morrissey song

Not one Smiths song is bad because Morrissey's lyrics were fresh and you could never beat Johnny Marr's jangly guitar solo...they are all good!
Morrissey solo without Johnny Marr, well...there's a lot

I think Davie is right.

I can't think of a duff Smiths song, but solo stuff, there's a few - Sweetie Pie is just dreadful, and (if it counts because it's a duet) Interlude was painful - but I think Morrissey had his own reasons for recording these two songs  There's that other one about exploding kegs which I always skip...

Having said that, out of 300+ songs picking less than 1% isn't bad. I can't think of any other artist who would come close.

I can't think of the worst Smiths songs but
but "Papa Jack" and "I'm Throwing My Arms Around Paris" (yawn) are the most boring in my opinion.

One candidate must be:

'ROY'S KEEN'

Does M really think we take this drivel seriously? Sounds like some bet he made at the pub - someone bet him he'd never make a song about a wondow cleaner . . . and even if this were not the case . . . it has a very patronising vocal tone to it.

Horrible.
