Worst ever Smiths/Morrissey song

I cannot take this thread seriously - someone voted for Never Had No-one Ever. Not only are subjective opinions worthless, that one is just plan ice-and-grit.

Very well said. Oh no vere had no one ever is superb and so beautiful.

I love all his songs because it's him and his lyrics.

But I would have to say least listened to would be

Morrissey: America is not the world

The Smiths: Paint a vulgar picture

Re: Worst ever Smiths/Morrissey song.

Maurice e you are f***ing nuts.
IMO most of those are classics. Tony the Pony.. legendary song.
I would agree with moonriver.

I take it from your opening sentence you're under the impression that is Maurice's personal list. It's just a copy of paste from the poll results as voted by members of this forum :D

Oh, and a few of my least-listened to are

Moonriver
I'm Playing Easy To Get
Money Changes Everything
Noise Is The Best Revenge
I Am Two People
My Life Is A Succession Of People Saying Goodbye
There Speaks A True Friend
That's Entertainment
The Draize Train

Nobody mentioned Mexico for least enjoyable song!

Remember? That song is about Mexican candy and the Moz Krew.

Morrissey - He Knows (I'd Love to See Him)
The Smiths - This Night Has Opened My Eyes

The Smiths: Golden Lights
Morrissey: Sorrow will come in the end

Morrissey-Journalists Who Lie

I like all Smiths songs!
I share your opinion on both counts.

I suspect the only reason why more people aren't nominating Journalists Who Lie is because, with it being a non-compiled b-side, they may not have heard it.

Yeah, whatever.

Never Had No-One Ever sounds like the entire band can't be arsed.

The lyrics are genius but they only last for half the song, then it's just our Mozza moaning over a background of nothing.

What are great lyrics without the music to match? They're a poem.

true true

It's disturbing me how some of the songs people are listing as terrible are songs I absolutely love.

The Smiths: Golden Lights, Miserable Lie
Moz: Bengali in Platforms, American is Not the World, I Have Forgiven Jesus, I Like You

The Smiths - This Night Has Opened My Eyes
WHAT?!

The Smiths: Golden Lights
Morrissey: Sorrow will come in the end

NOOOOO Sorrow will come in the end has got to be one of the songs where Moz sounds the sexiest. :horny::D
