Wippit signs up four indie labels

Wippit, the UK-based online music retailer today announced it has signed four further independent record labels to its service.
Wippit today welcomed Sanctuary, Roadrunner, XL Recordings and Beggars Group.
Artists from the labels include Morrissey, The Libertines, The White Stripes, Slipknot, Nickelback, and Interpol, as well as classic back catalogue tracks from Jimmy Webb, The Prodigy, Sepultura, Machine Head, and the Pixies.
The combined size of these catalogues will make available an additional 25,000 recordings to Wippit customers.
Paul Myers, CEO and Founder of Wippit, said: “It’s not our aim to have the biggest catalogue of music available, just the best.”
