Robbie Williams has said that he is close to rejoining former group Take That.

Speaking to the Daily Mirror, the 35-year-old said: "I'm in regular contact with them and it's looking more likely by the week. The lads all seem up for it. I think it would be fun.

"Let's see what happens, but my head's in the right place, so the timing could be right if Gary [Barlow, Take That singer] calls. I think it would be fun. It would be good."

Williams left Take That in 1995; the group split in 1996 but have sold more than 6m albums since reforming in 2005.
