I happen to like the "name" lifeguard sleeping especially because I also happen to be a lifeguard. Therefore, I must be the "real" lifeguard sleeping

There is no rule about names but as long as ive been visiting this board ive seen lifeguard posting under the same name so I think after a while the nick name should pretty much belong to her/him! You should really pick a unique name of your own so i can avoid your post..I would rather read what lifeguard had to say then about bradpit!

Well, for your information, I used to post under the name lifeguard sleeping way back when this board was first put up. Guess you weren't here then. So, not only am I the real lifeguard on the board, I'm the original one too. Now, please don't make me start using the name original lifeguard sleeping because someone else (cough) is currently using that name.

i can't believe how many people here still live in the high school world of running and hiding whenever "bullies" show up. it's not like real life. say, if you worked or went to school with these people and you were forced to be in the same room with them, it would be one thing, but this is a computer thing where you can leave at any time. you can't really have your life ruined by this....

Umm...people? We're talking about a website, here. On a discussion board, a name - an identity - is quite essential in establishing some sort of individuality.
