Why is the front cover so S**T!

> It looks awful! so naff
English is not my mother tongue, what does naff mean?

anything from : bad, rubbish, unstylish, cliched, or outmoded. But English is not my mother tongue either.

It kind of means seriously not cool, the opposite of cool. But I like it, Jamie, it's kitsch and retro and humourless. I don't know, 7 years without a release and now you're complaining about the cover!

Re: Maybe because Moz didn'ty have a hand in it

The 'credit' goes to Elizabeth holloway.

Note how I didn't use a capital for her surname. Just like on the sleeve,.....I'm so trendy!

I think he would have had a hand in it. I don't think anything goes on without the artist's permission, especially not when its Morrissey!!

I don't like the cover much (bring back Jo Slee!!) but I don't think its that important in the long run.

It's polari (British Gay Slang circa pre-1960s) in origin and is an acronym: Not Available For f***ing. But also literally as these people said, it means bad.
