Why does Moz sound like he's snorting cocaine?

Has anyone noticed that in the past 2 albums and respective tours, he seems to do this thing where he breaths in heavily through his nose and make that 'snorting' sound?

I agree. His voice goes puberty-esque around the 2:20 mark during "On the Streets I Ran" when he sings, "...is claim to know the real you...".

depends on what your comparing him too, the 20 years ago morrissey?..or the 3 cd's ago morrissey....sounds like a natural progression to me, he ain't 25 anymore
