Why do people hate Kewpie and David?

Can somebody tell me. I am not too familair with all the beef.

hate is a strong word....

they are the authority of the forum and some people do not like authority.
I don't think anybody hates them, after all this just a forum and we don't know them at all....
David hasn't upset anybody (apart from the obvious) and I don't think Kewpie really intends to hurt anyone.
