Who has been the greatest frontman ever?

Morrissey, Ian Curtis, Siouxsie Sioux, Alex Kapranos, Peter Murphy...

Like there is any doubt??! It's obviously George.

Hmmm

Ozzy Osbourne

This is hard.
The thing is,us older ones have more choice.
Over the years I've seen lots and lots of bands.
As much as I love Morrissey on balance it has to be Mick Jagger.
I've seen the Stones about eight times over the years and he always gives a performance.
I seen than a few years back at Twickenham.
Even at his age he beats many youngster with his energy and movement.
If you've never seen the Rolling Stones live.
Then you've missed out on a great thing.
Close second has to be Robert Plant.

Debbie Harry, Chrissie Hynde, PJ Harvey, Patti Smith, Siouxsie Sioux, Justine Frischmann, Shirley Manson, Louise Wener even Rachel Stephens - why does it have to be a front man?

I forgot Damon Albarn too. I watched a festival concert on TV last night, and blur was on it. Damon Albarn was really into it, as was the audience, and it looked like fun. Not to mention he is handsome.:blushing:

Excluding Morrissey... Lou Reed, Joey Ramone, Iggy, Jarvis Cocker, Lux Interior, David Johansen. And I love for Maynard J K too, and I don't care what anyone says.
