Interesting. Weird list. Surprised at the omission of: Thurston Moore/Lee Ranaldo, D. Boon, Greg Ginn, Peter Buck, J Mascis, Bob Mould, etc.

They aren't English. Maybe others on that list aren't either but it seemed weighted. I don't see anyone who is "indie" on it. But Sonic Youth and dinosaur jr would be there if it means "best alternative guitarists." I think they're using "indie" to mean "jangly guitar" but if so Peter Buck would be there and Kevin Shields wouldn't. Who knows? You're right, though. Weird list.
