Is it just me or anyone other feeling this is one of the most Smiths-like songs he has done solo?
His voice and the lyrics give me that strange Smiths feeling, as if it belongs in the Smiths canon.
Much more so in any case then the 2 other versions I know off.
The song as on Kill Uncle and the live KROQ version I have on cd-single.
Miss Johnny Marr's guitar though.

What a f***ing brilliant song it is.
So casually done, hitting all the right nerves.
I can't believe it was only considered as a b-side or too obscure to be a single A-side.
It had all potential, in my view, to be a great hit, provided it would get enough airplay.
And why didn't it?
Too many radiostations already opposed to him?

Sometimes I wonder if Moz really has a clue about which song should be a single.
And he just wantted it so badly.
As he said to Russell Brand once, " I haven't got a clue and he insisted it was a revealing answer.
