Ethel, by The Murder Capital, Dublin's finest post-punk band. I saw them in concert last night at a local castle. They deserve to be massive.

God looks away from the world for a moment and then what...? I read this chilling finale to a beautiful album as an attempt to answer this difficult question. Another journey, this time through life and the world, memories clash with gloomy conclusions about what surrounds us and what we do with it. The song would fit into Leonard Cohen's repertoire. But it fits Dylan like his own skin. If I had to pick a song that defined late Dylan , it would probably be this one.
