Echo Arena this Saturday, so reacquainting myself with it, then The National at Alexander Palace on the 27th, New Order at the O2 on the 29th
, Peter,Hook in Oct and hopefully Johnny doing his orchestral thing in December, been a quietish year for gigs but making up for it in the next couple of months

this was surprisingly pretty pretty good. lots of different sounds in every song from rockabilly new wave post punk bass joe jackson/the knack 70's power pop. some good lyrical choices in places and the songs while not radical had took some different turns for a pop band. i know it might be turn off for some but it also brought to mind early 1975

I've seen him 5 or so times Redacted, 4 times with his band and once just him. Personally I prefer the band but if you have not seen them as a band you've no reference point so solo will be good. He's very loud!!
