I only went to the Birmingham show, but the bit where he sang a little bit of "Save Me" by Joan Armatrading - and almost none of us knew what song it was - and then he gently mocked us for not knowing, was brilliant. An allegedly racist singer, doing a song by a black artist, and then chiding his devoted (almost entirely white) fans for their ignorance...is just very funny.
