A bit of a morbid thought perhaps, but what if Morrissey had died in 1986 or 87 - at about the same age as Kurt Cobain - at the time the Smiths split.

Would he have been 'immortalized' and romanticized like KC?

Would he be bigger in death than in life?

Would he be a magnet for conspiracy buffs?

What would this place be like (aside from missing the "~solo")?

Hypothetical questions are rather pointless.I`ve nearly died three times in my life.The last was close.I can`t think about what ifs.....its too depressing,besides i believe in fate.

However if he had died he would have achieved truly iconic status rather like James Dean.

He`ll die a very old and happy man.hopefully he`ll meet his soul mate and live happily ever after.
