What happened to the planned Rhino remasters?

Isn't it so that Morrissey was going to get the Rhino reissue treatment? Deluxe Editions? Why were they canceled? If it's Moz's fault...don't tell me. . Instead lie to me. Lie.

In the case of the Southpaw reissue, it was a missed opportunity. While including Morrissey's thoughtful liner notes on the 2009 remaster, the Miraval material would have been organized more logically in a two-disc version. I think it would have resonated better to separate the outtakes to compare and contrast rather than integrate what was released into the (reordered) track listing of the album proper.

And "Fantastic Bird" would have made much more sense affixed to Your Arsenal than tacked on to Southpaw.
