What exactly was the argument between Morrissey and Robert Smith?

I thought that the Mozipedia would answer my burning question, but it didn't!

All I know, from various internet sources, is that Morrissey said some nasty things about Robert Smith in the press that were unprovoked. Would Morrissey do such a thing?! Haha.

Now, this information was from Lol Tolhurst, I think (a lead guitarist of The Cure).

Does anybody have any information on this? I'm so very interested.
