I think most people hate Valentines to be honest and if Viva Hate ever wanted to find a loser he's sure found his guy in Mister V!

This idea that once a year we should recognise the one/ones we love and that once a year we should appreciate mom or dad is just insane but of course created to sell things. It is all about commercialism turned into bullying like when swedish schoolkids in the 90's came up with the idea that roses should be given out at school.

The popular people ended up with loads of roses and some ended up with nothing. I think some even committed suicide over it so it was stopped by the powers that be.

It shows that when mankind means good it almost always ends up badly cause no one was thinking in the first place. Having said that it looks like I will be buying another cuddly bear with a big red heart to add to Pilla's enormous collection of cuddly things.

The time of year for Valentines deserves a big V in the shape of two fingers.

Thanks for the compliment but I wasn't that young in the 90's to still be at school. It mostly happened to young girls and imagine what that was like for those frail little beings.

But IF they would have had that tradition when I was at school I had probably been beaten with roses and the thorns and all.

But I did dance with flowers in my back pocket once in Manchester near Moz's old home which made two girls from Leicester laugh.

United winning away at Chelsea and knocking them out of the cup. Has not happened too often and feels like ages since we last won there.
That the win came with some karma for Chelsea who didn't have the ref on their side this time made it all the more sweet.

Started watching that but the combination of 80's looks and unbridled gayness proved too much and by the time Michael Palin arrived with his jolly limericks, after Stephen Fry had told all his anecdotes in his Stephen Fry way I was in a state of complete shock and foaming at the mouth. This video should come with a warning, not everybody is used to that sort of thing, we ain't all public schoolboys

That Kenneth guy scared me at first, unfortunately I'd checked his bio on wikipedia and they say he probably poisoned his dad so I didn't know if I was watching a delightful harmless old Nance or a psychpath who for some reason reminded me of Cilla Black. Troubling.

The other day, I felt my jaw was slightly achy... I thought, Gee, what's wrong? And went and looked at myself in a mirror and saw that I was grinning like an idiot.

I realized then my face had been like that for approximately 4 hours and that it had started after seeing Adam Driver smile.

As I hadn't smiled like a loon in roughly 20 years, I was naturally shocked at the efficiency.
