The image I have of myself is that of a monstrosity. It was nice to find this in my messages today bc sometimes, once in a while, I actually hear the positives that I suppose I exhibit to others. Maybe I'm not really so awful.
please dont ever say that again. why and what would make you think that? your like one of the most liked people here and im not one to give false assurances. your empathy for the woman and her horse, your devotion to your son and just the pleasant straightforward manner in which you communicate says to me that you dont have a secondary agendas. your like one of the only people i trust here to say anything turthfull. please dont dsay that or believe it. dont waste your time on something thats only in your head. i know thats a hard thing to do but try cause because you have so much to put out there. sincerity is a powerful thing and your lack of fear of being embarrassed is inspiring im sure.
Ostriches have a rich history in Pasadena and Griffith Park. Ostrich feathers were once quite popular in ladies fashion, so there were a few farms in Los Angeles and they became integral in the culture of LA. Here's a float entry from 1910. Ostriches are symbolically fascinating in that they are flightless birds which have legs stronger than horses, they can run FAST and are the epitome of irony. Before football and The Rose Bowl became popular, they used to race ostriches after the parade. This ostrich is named Cloudburst.
