I think the answer is simple. He's off enjoying his money, uh, I mean his faith. No, seriously, he's probably just taking a rest. He got mostly praise for that movie, and he's still in demand in hollywood I think.

I know, he is a very passionate man and made a film he believed in.
That can't be said for most in that industry.
Funded all by himself too. Not that he's short of a few bob, but it just goes to show how passionately he felt about the subject.
I admire people like him who stand up for themselves in the face of adversity.
As we know, (not meaning to sound racist, as I often do on here) but Hollywood is run by Jews who despised the whole premise of the film.

I must say however, I was a little disappointed in the end result...rather short on content....the main focus being the crucifixation I know, but slightly overplayed.

Anyway good on you Mel, for having the guts.

I despise cowards who won't stand up for what they truly believe.
