Re: Japanese pop

Very interesting to know about how you discovered Japanese pop music.
I remember Momoe Yamaguchi phenomenon very well, watched her farewell concert on live TV.
Like USA and UK, 60s Japanese pop has many gems.

Ooh you got to see it on TV? I have the DVD and it's one of my favorite concerts ever. Even though she started as a factory made pop idol she really made a personality of her own and had so much style and charisma. I love her.

There was (and still is) some great music all around the world. Japan is especially great in cultivating awesome talent for their music industry. ^^
