...voice in the documentary? I'd never heard him speak before and I just can not reconcile that voice with that gorgeous face! It doesn't seem to fit. If I just heard him talking, I would NEVER guess it was Alain!

heehee. Yes! I was very shocked, too. I had to do a double-take on the name when he first spoke. He sounded (to me) a bit more like Robert Smith than like Morrissey. He was very charming, though...especially when recounting his trepidation at the new "Disco" song.

I have to say I WAS !! He is such a really nice guy. Such a pucka Cockney geezer....although I think his family is originally from Aberdeen.

He did an interview not long ago, about Mick Ronson and
he also did a very good impersonation of Morrissey.

OK, Cool. What are you doing up there already, checking out the Nets tonight and maybe stopping at LT's place later. Smart thinking wearing that sexy orange shirt. Not only will you be easy to spot But orange is great on blondes.
Do you need a ride home to Leeds Point?

Yes, you have. He sings back-up for Morrissey in concert and on several album versions.

he seemed like a decent bloke.Morrissey's band remind me of a Welsh male voice choir, mostly old blokes with the obigutory one young fresh faced bloke.

Oh, please tell me that someone recorded it and has it as an mp3-file or something?!

Ha ha!! Who is the fresh faced young bloke? I am not sure how old they all are actually but I am guessing Boz is oldest followed by Alain then Gary then Deano. They kinda seem like mates whereas Mozzer is just the boss. I can't see them all hanging out with him (particularly as he has sacked Gary at least twice!)
