Could anyone direct me to a place I can hear/download this?

Was it done as a sketch or is it an audio only affair?

Have looked on YouTube to no avail. :-/

I'll bung it up before long, as well as Funny How Things Turn Out, which is laden with Morrissey steals too.

Here we go then...

Fourteen Again - the references I spotted are:

  • In the preamble - "Didn't even know what drugs were" - never noticed this one before tonight. Very possibly a lift for The Queen Is Dead.
  • "The last night of the fair"
  • "Tattoo yourself with a fountain pen"
  • "Behind the generators (with your coconut)"
  • "The coloured lights reflected in the Brylcreem of his hair"
  • "When I was funny, I was famous"

Which, apart from the early Queen Is Dead reference, makes up a good part of Rusholme Ruffians.

Funny How Things Turn Out - a couple of references here (not laden, as I said before):

  • "My faith in myself is still devout" - another Rushholme Ruffians lift.
  • "Sing Lerner and Loewe to the mentally ill" - which could have been referenced in Frankly Mr Shankly.
Enjoy.

It's unsurprising it sounds musically dissimilar as Moz doesn't write music.

Thanks very much for posting these! Would it be possible to post links to other songs from this show? I've been looking for a recording of this for years.
Thanks again.
