I was in England at this time and happened to meet friends of the band through my English girlfriend and they claimed the boys and MOZ did alot of drugs-

we know he experimented with Ecstacy...

Can anyone elaborate?

Also Vauxhall does have a hypnotic feel to it the other albums do not

It has a crooning, swanning, swooning, velvetesque, tremulous quelling and
assuageing of delusions provoking much mesmerised ecstasies. At least
that's how I took it.

Bloody hell! I don't know what you're on, but I'm liking it!

He did confess to taking it once. He said he just stared at himself in the mirror for ages whilst 'on one', and it was the only time he liked what he saw. Or something like that.

I seem to have a problem hitting the post message button without writing a word, maybe its the same effect vauxhall has on the above posterss...well its that or the incredible amount of heroin floating through my bloodstream.

Just say No!

Can you imagine Morrissey's jaw on ecstacy...it would be liking a swaying wrecking ball.

I would pay good money to see Morrissey "e'd" up, glowstick in hand, dancing the night away to Faithless whilst boz and Alan are trying to stop him drinkin so many pints of water and hugging gary.

> Just say No!

I'm sorry, Im too far under the influence to pronounce it.

A 'swaying, wrecking ball'? Very poetic!
Why do people have a problem with Morrissey's jaw?
Yes I'm sure we would all be better with a bit of ecstasy if it didn't destroy your brain cells.
Oh well, happiness is probably boring after a while.

If the police stop you and ask if you have any drugs on you then just say NO

I don't think we'd ALL be better on ecstacy, there would be a dramatic shortage on chewing gum for starters....

yes, me too

doubt it.....

Dont think any productive human, especially Mozzer would be so foolish. His band mates dont seem the type, and yes by type I mean low life.

I met someone a few months ago who used to manage a big band in the 80's and he said that morrissey was not into drugs then, and that he could not imagine that he would be a drug addict

Sorry

Sorry that's complete rubbish, but you should write for the National Enquirer if you can post stupid comments like that one.

I know, I hear that, for sure in the 80's, Morrissey was as chaste as a monk, but I was refering to Vauxall, even specifically-

I could picture Moz doing this to make his "drug" album and then never being concerned with it again, as a person involved in an experiment-this would take a very strong minded individual, which we know Moz definately is. Afterall, this is a man who walked around his room blindfolded in order to replicate blindness-

Also, keep in mind during the 80's all the boys in the Smiths were heavy drug users including Marr-

As well, there is a long list of supposedly "great", "elite" records recorded under the influence.

Hey Jo Jo. I'm just being expressive. Morrissey is a constant
source of inspiration.
