vauxhall and i vinyl sleeve

just wondering if anyone knows why the sleeve photos on the v&i vinyl are such poor quality. very blurry! the hand pics on the inside sleeve and back cover look particularly bad! guess he just wanted it like that... weird!

I've never owned the vinyl, but the CD cover looks really bad as well and I've always wondered why. I used to have the promotional flat for that album and that image of the cover was full quality and stunning (see low-res partial scan here). I've been hoping that this issue will be fixed when V&I gets reissued.
