I'm happy for US fans but if this is the mind- blowing news then I can't help feeling a little disappointed. I was hoping for an announcement about the Autobiography or a new recored deal. But then if this was a long list of UK dates then I'd be happy, so maybe I'm just bitter about the lack of UK dates.

UPDATE June 26, 7:30 PM PT:

Info from Adrian:

Just got off the phone with the ticket office at the Nugget Resort in Reno. The tickets for Moz's show go on sale July 5th on their website and by phone ( 800-648-1177). The lady said they open at 6 am local time so I guess that's the time they go on sale.

12/4 Myrtle Beach plz. Last time was fantastic even though he was sick. If not, I suppose I'll make the trip to both ATL and Asheville.

So happy about the NYC date except I hate Radio City Music Hall because it is seated. Now I have to figure out how to get front row seats. Sigh. I'd rather it be general admission.

cant believe people in the forums are saying, i wont go if it is seated.i would sit on a bed of nails to watch mossirrey.paul mccartney 70 today and still performing, good on him.

Has Morrissey ever played Iowa?!! I'll be at the Clear Lake Surf Ballroom Show FOR SURE. Please nobody go so I'll be the only one.

wow, I really envy you bastards that are going to get to see Moz & Iggy, the day before my birthday
and me stuck here then, over 7 thousand miles away :tears:

Wow. I can spend half of October seeing Morrissey shows within 4 hrs of home.

I think I just might! He is retiring in 2 years, you know.

Ya right, Niagara Falls, NY? Haha! Niagara Falls, NY only has like 50,000 people in the entire town. But, interestingly enough, it is a border town with CANADA, and only 1 hour or so away from the Greater Toronto Area, which has 5.5 million people. Nice way to get close to Canada's biggest market and to satisfy your Canadian fans without actually stepping foot in Canada, Moz. You win on both fronts. You get their money and love while at the same time dissing their country! Clever little greedy shit, you!

Moz is such a shady little shit. So he's playing Bellingham, WA? Interesting, as that town has a mere few thousand people, hardly a city with enough clout or culture to beckon an so-so famous English Indie rocker. But funny thing.... the Canadian border, and the metro Vancouver, Canada area is just a few minutes drive away! Wow! Morrissey gets to diss Canada while still getting the love and money from its people! More interesting still? He's playing Niagara Falls, NY, which has only 50,000 people and couldn't ever possibly get a star of Morrissey's calibre on its own, but seeing as how it's only an hr or so from Toronto, Canada (with a metro of 5.8 million) once again Morrissey gets to slam Canada and continue his boycott knowing full well his Niagarta Falls show will be full of Toronto fans, spending Canadian money, on him. So he wins on all fronts. He still gets to look like he's protesting the Canadian Government and shutting out his Canadian fans while at the same time accepting crowds that will undoubtedly be 90% Canadian, and taking their money willingly, with a greedy grin. Asshole.

He would never do this amount of shows in UK. For someone who is quinticentially British he has seemingly forgotten his routes (like Paul McCartney, The Stones etc). Easy money, easy crowds.
