Morrissey, Morrissey, you're a hopeless case aren't you?
hopeless case? in your case...? Anyways, since you're addressing him, tell me when he gives you an answer.
'Obama was the true no.1 enemy to planet earth.' I'd like to expand on that and say... It seems that ALL politicians/presidents,'leaders' in power are an enemy to this planet, and yet we still continue to give power to them. I wonder why this is.
'
What about half million people murdered in Syria under Obama's policies?
What about him encouraging the orchestrated "Arab Spring" that left a bleeding and dying ME?
What about him strengthening the Psychotic Iran regime and killing the only authentic people's protest - the students of Iran who almost overthrew this Neo Nazi regime in 2009?
You know, if you were a sane person, it should have troubled you as one war instigated by Iran equals nuclear bombs equals death to every living thing: Humans, animals, trees etc. Obama was the true no.1 enemy to planet earth.
Why didn't you speak against the now cancelled TPP, a deal which could have led to unprecedented devastating consequences for animals around the world?
Why didn't you talk about NAFTA? The living animal shipments, remember?
A lot of interesting information there. I wonder how much he knows about it or how deep he goes into it. It does take a lot of time I would think. You may want to write a letter and get it to him, enlightening him on these issues. Sometimes it's possible before a show at soundcheck. We all live in our own little reality tunnels, and M is no exception when it comes to not being able to see all the evil in this world. And from your post, you really seem to be up on these matters. How do you address these issues?, I mean to have such knowledge of these issues and not do something about it all must be a terrible burden on ones conscience, I would think.
'You always do what you know best, ranting and whining on TTY without ever bothering to learn and care about the economics and politics that operate in the background.'
Well it may sound like 'whining' to you, but he seems to be doing his best with the information he does know. Lest we forget.. he is an artist first... and though some will say he should 'keep his nose out of politics then'... we should also remember that he's also human and should be able to speak his mind however flawed his knowledge of politics are... we all do the best we can.
'You were one of the many shallow celebs who fell for Obama because he looked good and was the "first black president" and to hell with qualifications or skills or intentions. Obama just granted your old wish from "America Is Not The World" and filled your narcissistic assumptions about your position and importance in the world. If you were a true animal lover you would care about every living thing in the world. But you don't know how to love. It's all a lie. You only "love" animals because they don't threaten your image and don't see through the bulls!it like humans do. You use animals like you use humans to further your own goals. Can't forget the leaked 2006 email when you confessed to talking about human rights just for publicity and music charts. Continue to cry about animal rights while supporting PETA who kill millions upon millions of healthy cats and dogs. PETA - the parallel universe of health (death) care "Planned Parenthood"'
Just a lot of opinions , speculations and assumptions there that are not worth going into really, not saying you're wrong to have an opinion, you should and that's why this site allows such airings. But name calling, finger pointing and saying someone does not know how to love? based on your reasoning it's an interesting take on the subject. Love is very complex and how one shows it and to whom they show it to... very complex. And to say his concern for animal welfare is...'all a lie' really? I find this remark laughable... If all he was ever to have done was write the song 'Meat is Murder' that would have been enough... to show his love. Case closed.
Yes, I'm addressing him because his nephew and other moles read this site daily. Remind me:
Who wore a black shirt with the print "F*ck Morrissey-Solo.com" in 2011? A doppelgänger perhaps?
Laugh, laugh but Morrissey is the most obsessive fan of Morrissey the pop star.
He has no excuse for not being knowledgeable. He's not a struggling blue collar, making ends meat (no pun intended). He's not a full time parent occupied by real issues. He's a famous pop star with vast resources available at hand. It's not a case of not being aware, it's a case of not wanting to be aware. He's never appreciated academics or getting deep into learning how our world works from the inside. What else is there if he can't even salt his own chips, for goodness sake!
If you ask, I do a lot to bring awareness on these serious issues in my personal life. What's tragic, the fortunate Morrissey uses the stage to dumb down the audience with reckless slogans such as "each time you vote, you support the process"- the only process to change a government sans blood shed.
If he can't bother in his age to learn about the real world, then he better stick to his silly feuds with other pop stars.
I'm not backtracking on my statement that he doesn't know how to love. It's not just assumptions and speculations, after so many years he's become so predictable it's like watching an awful episode of Big Brother.
Did he do good for animal welfare? Of course, he did a lot of good in the past. However, let's talk honest here - do you remember when did he ever say anything caring or heart warming without inserting himself in the spotlight? I can't recall any time when he did a SELFLESS act. Selfless - not gaining anything, not headlines during promotions, not money, not stealing energy from other people. He lacks the ability to be low profile, take a step back and let the subject be at the center. He's never done it. Not once.
If you still refuse to see it, open Autobiography.
If you need more specification, read the Arthur "Killer" Kane section. This person had suffered through hell in his life, yet all Morrissey could utter were mocks at his expense and puzzlement how the peasant Arthur wasn't interested in the stupendous career of the Great Moz.
Beautiful epitaph.
Cruelty at its best.
