In a new posting on NIN.com over the holidays, Trent Reznor hinted at a new Nine Inch Nails release of some sort in 2010. Reznor wrote that he has a number of things planned for the new year, "including new material from nine inch nails and something else that isn't nine inch nails. I am in a state of rediscovery and reinvention that feels unfamiliar, unsure and exactly what I need."
