There's no difference between being a good person and being a Christian - even the Pope said this. It's the best way to live your life. Morrissey is a gentle soul and brings a lot of joy to the world with his sensitive music. He has changed and positively enhanced many people's lives.

That to me sounds very Christian-like. And remember Moz came from a Catholic household. Sometimes as people mature they quietly return to a relationship with Jesus.

But you really believe it’s possible to be a Christian in this world? Not by my definition.

We’re all pagans and slaves to the mighty dollar, don’t fool yourself.

Return to Jesus

Well, if true.. maybe his next album will be a gospel album, which wouldn’t be a bad thing in my book.

Reelfountain spends the majority of their time on this website making sweeping, hateful generalizations about entire ethnic groups and then preaches about “sensitivity and kindness” in the same breath. Feigning ignorance with her “who me?” attitude is just a defensive tactic.

Are you sane? I don't call people names on this site. Ever. So I don't quite understand you here.

Did you not look at the image you posted,? you are calling people that would label some people Hitler because they don’t agree with their views,
‘emotional children’.

If I’m wrong, then tell us why you posted that image.

Can’t be him, Aztec has told us all, that Morrissey was born in the US.

Wrong. I critically question things (sometimes controversial things) and state my opinions. No more, no less. Hate doesn't come into it.

But there is a definite contingent out there who think certain subjects should be left alone and never questioned in any capacity. If I rile these people then that makes me incredibly joyous - as what they are doing is in line with fascism.

I posted that image of Moz's Holy Communion because it shows he had a Catholic childhood and obviously an early relationship with Jesus (that he may now have returned to - as he stated last night in concert that he was a Christian).

You’re an active participant in a 5-page thread wherein you froth at the mouth to debate details of the Holocaust while authoritatively and ignorantly (notice how those two always seem to go hand in hand?) discussing “Jewish identity.” Spare me if I don’t exactly consider you a pioneer of critical thinking and intellectual rigor.

You certainly verify my theory that to even mention the Holocaust in any critical capacity one is immediately branded an evil, hateful anti-Semite. So thanks for that.

And yet you agree with the views of site member Godemperormorrissey
who believes that one of the reasons Hitler wanted Jews out of Germany was because Jews were trying to subvert German culture by spreading porn, and when I asked Godemperormorrissey for proof of evidence of this, he said it’s true that the Jews were trying to subvert Germany by spreading porn because Hitler says it in his speeches so it must be true. It’s Hitlers speeches that Godemperormorrissey takes as truth.

So you want free speech but agree with Godemperormorrissey who obviously wants a fascist leader to tell him what to read and not read.

“I talk about food all day long and for some strange reason people think I’m hungry.”

I agreed with him about porn on that subject, yes. So what?

Exactly. We've been conditioned to think that any critical mention of the H is no-go or else you're evil, you're Hitler, and we'll arrest you and that'll shut you up!

Which as a critical thinker fascinates me, yes - and I could talk about this strangeness all day long.

Why would you question and judge other people’s views as wrong and yours right?

NOT a very Christian thing to do.

It’s probably a no go on a thread about Morrissey's gig in Toronto.

Why is it not Christian to debate what's right and wrong?

Let's face is Ket, you have a kind of tacky Hollywood version of what Christianity is i.e mad people in the South screaming about Jesus and hellfire.

No you agreed that Hitler was doing a good thing by burning books.

Is that your idea of free speech?

Is this not censorship?

I thought you believed in freedom of speech? And in turn I assume you would believe in freedom to make your own choice in what to read/look at and not read/look at.

Wrong. I never agreed about Hitler or indeed anyone burning books.

No the ‘Hollywood version’/ evangelist is not a Christian in my eyes.

A true Christian would not judge others and would accept others views especially the views of others that she/he may not agree with.

Faith Goldy sought the support of the Jewish Defense League, demonstrating that she was not neo-Nazi, and the media ignored all of this, preferring it's 'hate speech' label for her and to exclude her from politics. But people in Toronto still voted for her. Holy Facebook even banned her. She is a modern day Spinoza.
