Tony Blair's resignation

Don't let Slum Mum be corruptible ;)

Perfect propaganda, a photo her and children getting the child benefit "see she is just like you":) and then going to the Co op to the groceries.

either way the goverment and the whole politics thing is absolute poo.....i really should keep my mouth shut b/c i don't follow what is going on in our government.....:o (oh the shame) It is all a pile of toss

(i don't mean this to sound as horribly patronising as it probably does, but) i remember mark thomas (i'm so intellectual!) saying, about people who say politics is boring, "the ruling class love you".

i still like you, too, tho

Oh and Northern Ireland doesn't have any oil reserves

and installing terrorists in devolved gov't ensures no further explosions in Canary Wharf. unprincipled c*** with less interest in human life than the interests of international capital. (sorry, i just came over all 'Crime Of The Century')

Exactly. My mother, (former socialist protest marcher) a life long member of the labour party, was so disgusted by his bahaviour she risigned from the party and wrote them a shitty letter telling them why. (If you knew my mother, the fact that she had a) got round to writing the letter and b) got round to posting it is serious pissed off behaviour)

my mother-in-law rules.

Having left school in 1979, just one month after the evil wicked witch of the west came to power (maggie thatcharse for those wondering!) and praying for a Labour success in 1983, 87, 92 and left in dispair in each of the three elections, we knew Labour had to change to become electable.
What we didn't expect though, was for them to be almost as much to the right than the Tories were, leaving the centre party (Lib Dems) to the left!

I can, however, see many, many cases where 'we have never had it so good' but also a few issues where we have it bad. But overall, compared to thatcharse's (and John Minor's) reign things did only get better.
However, Iraq changed everything. The vast majority of people knew it was bullshit, a ruse to get rid of an irritable bloke getting in Bush's way and how Blair thought he could get away with this manure wafting in our direction was beyond me.
We have now ended up with three parties that are hard to seperate and non of them trustworthy (neither parties or individual politicians).
Someone mentioned France. For me it was the wrong choice - but at least i felt the French had a choice which is why the voting figures were high. In the UK, lack of choice results in low turnouts at the polls, it doesn't matter who gets in as nothing seperates each party able to win.

....I think we might need to discuss that later...

Yes, i mean, why let having small children ruin your protesting, simply drag them along with you (seriously.)

Don't worry about it. It's true. To make matters worse i really hate to vote, so i always go for the Green party, as i know they will never get to office. but one day they might then lets see what harm they can do.

(good job you still like me, or there would be hell to pay :D)

I think we have to get used to the fact that the Catholic hating loyalist terror supporters who never wanted to share power are now entitled to take their place in the new government.
Time to move forward.
