I feel the same way about this as the first time I heard Joanna Newsom, it warms the heart, and makes me feel good about life. The Observer Music Monthly described this song (I paraphrase) as a cross between the Empire Ballroom, Disney and Morrissey. That's good enough for me, even if he was a Morrissey reject. As always, chacun a son gout.
