I've known no war
A German indie band that has been around since the early 90s and evolved from noisy garage rock to distinguished pop has a new record out. The singer is a sensitive, anti-fascist poet, who partly reminded of the old Morrissey (lyrically). On the new record "Never Again War" there's a track that totally reminds me of The Smiths ("Crash") and the new single "I Hate It Here", which exudes the bumbling wit and charm of of Morrissey's early solo singles. An abandoned man gets upset over something as terse as a bland frozen pizza (superficially). Listen for yourself:
