Tix for Indio, CA - Fantasy Springs info

I was online right at 10 am, and I never got anything closer than row "O."

Then we'll be in the same row. ;) Which section are you in?

I'll admit that I thought I snagged row zero, not the letter O. Thought that was some special VIP front row. I hadn't looked at the map yet.

Haha, I got row O as well. In section B.

When I first logged on, that's all that was being offered, and I thought "That's not very good." So I kept trying and suddenly I was being offered section MM which is definitely not very good. Feeling very desolate, I still kept trying and eventually I was offered row O in section B again, and interestingly this time that seat seemed pretty good. :)

yeah buying online right now is totally not working. I called 10 min before they went on sale. he said it was the last row A ticket. i wanna know who called 15 min early and bought em all!

Live and learn....

crap, I knew I should've called! Good for you, Andrea!!!

The best I could do was section A, row P, seats 1 & 2. :tears:

I'm in section B, row O, seat #5.

I'm gonna wait and see what kind of tickets come up for sale later on.... Sometimes a day or two before the show, you can get a really good seat (or there are always the lovable Internet scalpers). Row "O" isn't really worth a 2-hour drive for a seated venue and $70.

Anybody else see the special deal's they offer with rooms and "special" seating?

maybe they gave the good seats to those who buy the package deal?

It is not a deal. You get worse seats (premium instead of VIP, I think) and pay MORE for the privilege. No, thank you. I don't get why people would do this. I guess the same geniuses who would buy from stubhub!

That's how most casino shows go! I'm waiting to get my tix for this show...hoping better ones will be available later.

It hasn't sold out. You can still buy VIP seats from Fantasy Springs dot com.

Anyone familiar with this venue? Is it really a seated venue? Any chance they take out the seats? What's the size compared to one of the local LA/OC venues?

Anyone have extras they want to sell? I know they're still available online but maybe someone here has better seats that they need to sell.

Thanks!

I saw a concert there a year or two ago. We had floor seats (yes, seats, everyone was seated), and there were bleacher seats for those who didn't have actual chairs. Definitely an odd venue for Morrissey to agree to, and not one I necessarily look forward to. I guess the upside is that it's a pretty intimate venue, sizewise.

I saw him at whatever the Anaheim Stadium is called these days, along with Jaguares. This venue is considerably smaller in comparison. Not even in the same league. And if I recall, the acoustics were pretty sucky as well.
