Great picture. Funnily enough, the post title no doubt references the track "Time" on Aladdin Sane which was produced by Ken Scott and not TV.

I would like to hear a remixed version of Ringleader. Something was not quite right about it. I know both BB and Alain expressed qualms about the final mix.

has it ever been mentioned that they actually fell out,we know the kristeen young stuff but think M has a thicker skin than most people give him credit for.

Could be wrong, but he probably didn’t even know about the incident of Tony stepping in to defend Young.

It’s not impossible to imagine band members not telling him everything.

I'm not sure it was the mixing so much, as the mastering - apart from 'Dear God Please Help Me' that record was brickwalled to the max, so its completely lacking in any dynamics.

Morrissey should answer « Thanks » and send him the master tapes of BOT and Music to see if something could be done out of them. Always good idea to ask a specialist ,

He already has.
4 years ago the following statement was issued on 'Morrissey Central':
Morrissey’s third UK number 1 album ‘Ringleader of the Tormentors’ will be issued this year by BMG for the first time. The album is presently being ‘rebooted’ by producer Tony Visconti and will feature more sections by Ennio Morricone and his orchestra from the 2005 sessions in Rome, plus a photographic booklet.

As with pretty much every other announced release in the last few years, it failed to appear.
