Are there any TG fans here that can steer a TG newbie in the right direction? I've heard all sorts of things about this band. What is their best release to start with?

I guess 20 Jazz Funk Greats is a pretty palatable album for new listeners.

It's not one of my favorits, but it may be a good introdcutiong to "ease you into TG", so to speak.



I guess TG deserves some respect, even if I hated them... "Hamburger Lady" is one of the only songs that I can honestly sday ever "terrified" me to listen to alone in a dark room, haha.

I remember having to choose between seeing them(TG) or The Cure at Coachella one year
I chose TG and they were fanastic
as for recommendations about songs of theirs?
there is the already mentioned 20 Jazz Funk Greats which I quite like actually
however, it does not contain some of my fave songs of theirs unlike:
