The Songs Which Certainly Didn't Save Your Life.

Re: The Songs Which Certainly

Am I the only one shocked by how many people are saying Shakespeare's Sister? I cannot rate that song enough!! x

Too Three Beatles
abbey road
white album
revolver

Found Found Found and Maladjusted are great.

anything I would skip would be on ROTT.

Ask
Panic
This Charming Man

They're just a bit too jaunty for my liking.

harsh truth...
found found found
papa jack
he cried

I have one more but I know most if not everyone will disagree with me
but I have never enjoyed...

the loop.

blasphemy indeed! i LOVE that song.

Ask
Panic
This Charming Man

I agree with Ask.
Panic has always been iffy.
I was sick of This Charming Man for a while - i played it to death.

It's great now. And Panic.
Ask - not so much.

The Boy With the Thorn in His Side - certainly didn't save my life.
incredible song but not for me usually

On the Streets I Ran
The Father Who Must Be Killed
All the Lazy Dykes
Papa Jack
The Teachers Are Afraid of the Pupils
Paint a Vulgar Picture (great lines, but the music bores me)
Meat is Murder (I prefer the live versions)
Golden Lights + Oscillate Wildly (I don't hate GL, and I like OW quite a bit, but I don't like their positions on Louder Than Bombs, so... *skip*)
Suffer Little Children

...(dis)honorable mention:
Slum Mums
Michael's Bones
Pregnant for the Last Time

I will probably be crucified for this, but I am quite tired of Suedehead and Everyday is Like Sunday. I just am. They're good songs, they're just lauded over ones that I think are far more brilliant.

No offense PT, but isn't this a repetition of the most fav/least fav thread. I cringed at the thought of a 'Greatest Hits' tour. I become engrossed with the latest album, having exhausted the previous albums, I thrive for new sounds. The problem with such older songs is that they have become the trademark which is the only point of reference that is used to describe him. Those who haven't enjoyed the last two albums as much as I have are perhaps denying themselves and marginalizing his talent.

I know we have done this before but I have to say I was reading this thread at work, could not comment cause for some reason I can not sign in to solo on my mobile internet now I have changed providers... *sigh* but Its been interesting to read about everyones choices, I had a few gasps of shock at some of the ones you all don't like.
who does not like Alsatian cousin!! :p

The ones I dont really care for I do not listen to much, so I don't find it too much of an issue.
