Jingle bells...it's December. Where did 2008 go?
First off, a HUGE thank you to every one of you who came and saw us this year. Unbelievably the band was born (in it's second coming) five and a half years ago and next March will see the 5th anniversary since our debut show, which took place at The Half Moon in Putney - a lovely warhorse of a venue much loved by tribute bands and tribute band fans...and The Smyths. For your support in these first five years we send a heartfelt thanks.
And it's Putney that is the first port of call for our three December shows. Having once again travelled north and south and back again, many times, we are staying close to home this Christmas with three Capital shows. If you'll be in the city for your Christmas shopping, then I hope you can join the locals for each show. If not then please allow The Smyths to wish you a very merry Christmas and hope you'll be with us again in 2009, our official 5th anniversary year.

New Years Eve with The Smyths: A Smiths/Morrissey themed evening with Videos/Films/ Two performances by The Smyths and a Smiths/Morrissey/Manchester disco after the band till the very early hours of January 1st 2009!
