Hi everyone,

Im a big fan of Moz and The Smiths and regularly visit this site but never use the forums (i did once after the Moz gig at Barrowlands last november - it was class ), however im seeking The Smiths/Morrissey Worldwide Album sales figures, and if possible an album-by-album breakdown of sales.

Is there anyone out there that can help???

Your help is appreciated.

Paul

Sales figures in the US can be found at RIAA:
http://www.riaa.com

Sales figures for the UK can be found at BPI:
http://www.bpi.co.uk/flashindex.html

these are not exact sales figures, just the
certification the album has received.
500,000 units = Gold, etc.

I don't know about other countries.

What a star you are. Whenever someone has an obscure query for facts, or general information, you're always there with the answer.

You are my Morrissey-soloist of the week

____________

Nearly right, i'm in Advertising. (cue the Bill Hicks jokes :p )

Sepia picture of a mighty joe young* bothering a caged lion. (No Morrissey)

* a mighty joe young is a fictional animal created for entertainment purposes. Nearest real animal equivalent: Gorilla. A lion is a real animal.
