video, but i'm still trying to find a way to compress the beginning

i am preparing a video at the moment... but I am going to photograph a wedding right now so it will have to wait. It's Morrissey - 1992-12-23 Duesseldorf, Philipshalle - dunno if its been posted already - I got it off smithstorrents. I am using MPEG streamclip 1.8 to convert the VOB's into quicktimes at 50 percent or so and then I am putting them through quicktime pro so I can fit em to sendspace or so I can upload to youtube... or both - depending on time, demand, and my general mood...
