The Right Wing Thread

ROFLMAO,
labour= right, i dont think so... they are so left they cant even see the middle anymore.
I would HATE to see your idea of a leftie,
*shudders at the very frightening thought*:(

New Labour has made so many panderings to the right, it doesn't even deserve to be known as the Labour Party any more. It was part of Blair and Co's strategy to reach electability. Economically, the difference between Labour and Tory is negligible, with a few exceptions like welfare and business tax. I refer you to this website for further information. My idea of a left-wing political party is one that stands up for traditional socialist principles - primarily equality - and that sure as hell ain't Labour...

I am tempted to start voting SNP because of the fear of England voting right wing.

Where is your evidence of that happening?

well, presumably, you were looking for "evidence" which actually exists.

I was asking Hugh to provide evidence of this 'fear of England voting right wing' that would make him vote SNP.
Yes Labour and tories are to the right, but neither are extreme or extreme enough to worry about in my opinion. (I dont worry about the tories anyway as they have as much chance of getting back in as manchester united do of taking any points off City this season:D)

I really wish this to be true, but I fear the Cameron PR machine when an election finally happens.

 I can't believe I've posted on this thread. Besides, Alan B'Stard for PM (Or Lord Protector).

I agree, I've posted more on this thread than the left wing thread!

Anyway, surely all true Morrissey fans will vote for Dave The Rave Cameron as he too is a true fan of Morrissey:sick:

Come on, the tories are hardly far right (with one or two exceptions within the party). The only thing the tories are right of is the Labour party - and only just!
I assumed Hugh was going on about the BNP.

Scotland will not accept a Tory goverment ever again. There will be riots if the England let them in. It will result in the break-up of the union.

I lean towards the right. At one point I thought I leaned slightly to the left and that was because I had an earache which threw off my balance.

I'm not sure which way I lean, it's only when I'm pissed though!

luckily I'm brave enough not to need to carry weapons! :D

Considering the fact that Morrissey came from a really working class background and has irish immigrant heritage i think it is safe to say that he flirts with the right

How do you arrive at that conclusion based upon his social background? I think if you look at voting data over the past centuries, it'll become fairly obvious that most working-class, inner-city immigrants do not vote Conservative or hold particularly right-wing views. Why would they?

I lean toward the right too.
Perhaps it's because I carry my guns on that side  :D

Or as Snoop would say...

I keep a blue flag hanging out my backside
But only on the left side, yeah that's the Crip side
