Re: The need for a british Morrissey website!

I wonder why there is no british Morrissey fansite like this one?

Surely we need one where the cultural divide and barriers that exist here on Solo can be removed and an open dialogue between his real fans from Britain and Europe can live in freedom?

The way Solo and David T made a disgrace of everyone attached to this site by getting hated by Morrissey himself means no one in their right mind can take this website seriously anymore. We need a proper website with european values where americans and those that got americanised with attitude problems do not censor what is said here based on the moderators personal beliefs and what they consider to be right and wrong.

We should unite and create something real and authentic open to those that believe in free speech for real and not just pretending to believe in it. We need a Morrissey website that just like the man himself is not political correct and dares to criticise everything and everyone if it is needed with whatever language we choose.

Solo scared away the cool crowd and it got replaced by political correct morons with jobs that they fear to lose for a good reason since they are restricting free speech and that would not hold up well in any court especially not the american ones. Let us create a real Morrissey fansite that lives up to its name and that is a copy of the man himself with free speech and less if any restrictions.

The moderators (we know who they are) should be ashamed what they have done with this place and should say sorry to the many people they have offended for years now by acting in a manner that is not worthy of people living in a democracy.

If it's such a brilliant and obvious idea, why haven't you done it yet?

So it is TOO politically correct here yet Morrissey hates the place? By that "reasoning," shall we remove ALL moderation?

Define "British values." I'd be curious to see if they square with what the other posters from the UK consider same. Some cultural referents aside, I don't perceive an enormous gap of understanding between the UK and US constituents here - or, for that matter, between those of us born into the English language and posters who write from other parts of the globe.

Bigotry is born of ignorance, fear, or jealousy. Or all of the above. Anti-Americanism is bigotry.

Because he is a coward who prefers to whine than take action.

I'm confused. Is there too much moderation or not enough? I wish the crazies would at least get their complaints straightened out.
