That line is from "Oh Well, I'll Never Learn".

how is it that I never voted on this one or commented? one of my favorites. f***in gorgeous. I agree with Comtesse about the line "you think you were my first love, but you're wrong...you were the only one." omg *tear* ...10!

i cant believe people give 9's and 10's for this song

how can you vote in mind with songs like 'meat/light/share you/'bigmouth,etc.'

this is an uncomplete song, just Reilly jamming, and Morrissey whispring
a few lines

for christ sake

It's called an OPINION...and if people like the song..then so Be it

Geez, it's better that people LOVE It...than they HATE IT...

Stop being so dramatic....and let people have their favorite songs already

What is wrong with you??? Listen again - this is a song of complete and absolute beauty! The chords are lovely and Morrissey's autobiographical lyrics are stunning. The song has a mood of incredible nostalgic sadness, every bit at powerful as Seasick, Yet Still Docked. Yes, it's short, but in this case it's not incomplete - it's like "Please Please Please..." in that sense. It says exactly what it needs to in a few short perfectly-formed lines, then slinks out of the room leaving us sobbing in its wake.

And how can equate 'Meat' with a 10???? That's one of the poorest songs The Smiths ever recorded - I will probably give it a 6 or a 7.

Ah, people and their baffling taste!!

tsk, for instance Meat is Murder as a song is a very strong statement,
the best anti-meat industry song, Morrissey's singin is beautifful, Johnny
put some fine clear riffs in the song

Meat is Murder as album is the best the Smiths ever did.
Johnny guitarriffs were still pure, the next 2 albums he used overdubs too
much ,cq he more produced riffs

Morrissey lyrics are strong , i cant mention a song on MIM on which HE
should be ashamed [yes even barbarism] for

well I end, cause I can go on and on about this album, it's my treasure,
and I will love till my last breath
