I voted a 9. I too kind of hate it when my friends are successful meanwhile I still live with my parents

fun video! fun song to sing along to! "ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha, its really laughable!" love that part. :)

I'd give it an 8.5, but im gonna round down to an 8 for this one.

We are on the W's!?! W t f :( :D

High 8. I love the ending lines, "verse, chorus, middle eight, break, fade, just listen ..."

This song was in the Top 10 of the Onion's best 'Laughter in Music'. ah ha ha ha ha ha...

who wants ice cream!?

Another poor Morrissey A-side from the '90's. The laughing non-chorus is disgraceful for a man of so many words. The only good memory of this song that I have is seeing him point at the crowd in front of him at Arco Arena in Sacramento as he mimed in camp disgust, "Oh, LOOK AT THOSE CLOTHES!" Musically, I always thought this was just a less melodic version of "Our Frank". I give it a 6 for a couple of good lines.

I give it a nine. I held the pointer over 8, put ultimately my take on this song is slightly different than what everyone has mentioned thus far. Yes, it is funny, but moreover it is such a savage indictment of the jealousies we all possess. No one I know is able to capture the human condition and put it into song better than Morrissey. For me, it is what separates him from the rest of the field. Not only is the song a truism it is also a nearly unspoken one.

10 for sentimental reasons. The CD single cover photos alone are worth 3 points.

an 8

as for choosing not the best from an album as a single, this one is one
of the few that's on my good side, it's catchy, easy singalong lyrics,
and about 3 minutes, so a perfect Morrissey single.

I give 1 point extra for the ice cream licking in the video, which is one
of Morrisseys best

and if they northern
that makes it even worse

6.5. hmm...couple of good lines in it....
I like it but I'm a little nonchalant also.
And if I compare it to what I would consider to be a 9-10, well, it's only above average, really...

The first ever Morrissey song i heard, so i suppose it has some sentimental value to me. This track always reminds me of the first time i saw him performing in the way only he can :) 8 from me i think.

Listening to this song on my iPod always makes my ears bleed. Not because I don't like it, (I DO, one of my favs) but simply because the beginning is so loud :D
A solid 9 from me :)
